BLS Provider
The CPR Training Centers offers the Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers class through both the American Heart Association (AHA) and the American Red Cross (ARC). This course trains students with a medical background to recognize life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality CPR, deliver appropriate ventilations, and provide the early use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). This class can be taught to first time students, for renewals, and as a blended learning class. Please see the instructions for the AHA blended learning option below.
The online version of the AHA BLS provider course can be done at home at your convenience. The online course costs 36 dollars and is found at the following link: https://shopcpr.heart.org/heartcode-bls
Once the online portion is completed, students must take the survey before they are presented with a certificate.
The ARC blended learning class is provided free of charge upon registration.
YOU MUST BRING THE COMPLETION CERTIFICATE WITH YOU TO CLASS IN ORDER TO COMPLETE THE IN PERSON SKILLS.
Skills sessions are available daily and last about 1 hour for AHA and 2.5 hours for ARC. Please see the registration tab for available times.
First Aid CPR/AED
The AHA and ARC’s first aid CPR and AED course trains students to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. This class is designed for the non-medical professional and individuals with a first aid job requirement. You will learn the following skills in this course:
- First aid basics
- Medical emergencies
- Injury emergencies
- Environmental emergencies
- Preventing illness and injury
- Adult CPR and AED use
- Opioid-associated life-threatening emergencies
- Optional modules in Child CPR AED and Infant CPR

Group Rates
If your interested in getting a group of people trained to be CPR, First Aid, or BLS certified, courses can be held at a location of your choice. Anyone from families, to community organization members to sports teams can benefit from the life saving training that the CPR Training Center provides.
